Chris Trundle

First 25 Straight in Scrap

On August 17, 2006, history was made at the Tennessee Clay Target Complex. Chris Trundle broke the first 25 straight in Scrap. Chris used his model 12 Winchester to accomplish this unparalleled feat.

A small group of members started shooting Scrap five years ago on a limited basis and now we have shooters shooting Scrap most days. You will see them on trap field number 9. Stop and join in the fun. Scrap will test your skill and you had better be ready for a lot of friendly ribbing.

Scrap is shot off the wobble trap from the skeet stations. Each shooter takes 25 shells to the line and in turn shoots a station until he breaks a target or misses 5 times, the last shooter with shells wins. The trap throws a target 70 yards and can present some very tough shots.
