The Tennessee Clay Target Complex played host to the 2005 State Skeet Championship, on August 26-28. A solid field of competitors arrived to compete and enjoy the American-born sport of skeet.

The TCTC staff had the fields and clubhouse ready for the big event. Nashville temperatures in August can be extremely hot. Fortunately, cooler temperatures and occasional showers made the late summer event very enjoyable.

Congratulations to T. D. Berkes III for a masterful performance to earn the title of “2005 Tennessee State Skeet Champion.” T. D. won both HAA and HOA. He was flawless in the shoot-offs!

Management at the Tennessee Clay Target Complex wishes to congratulate all the winners and to say “thank you” for the opportunity to host the event. We look forward to seeing you all again during the 2006 TSSA Championship.
