February Registered Trap Shoot - February 19 and 20

The President’s Day weekend shoot was reduced to Saturday only when we were greeted with an all-day soaking rain on Sunday.

Many of our friends from Indiana and Kentucky were out on Saturday to enjoy a few rounds of registered trap in Nashville. The targets were well set and people seemed to have a fine time.

Our staff did an excellent job, as usual. If you haven’t told them how well they are doing this year - please make it a point to do so. The food was special with barbequed chicken, bean soup, pasta salad and homemade banana pudding.

Our spotlight this month is on our dear friend and follow club member Bob Pierce. Bob is the type of person who will lift you up when you are down. He loves our club and Trapshooting. Bob (and his entire family - including wife Kay) have been working at Trap shoots for many years. Bob is always busy working at all of our Trap shoots.

Bob is very active in Investors Equity Holding, LLC. He and his partner are excited about all of the new projects they are involved with this year. In addition to his full time business, Bob is the Treasurer of TCTC, a member of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee State Trapshooting Association. He has served as president of both of these organizations.

Bob attends every registered Trap shoot at TCTC and several other major shoots around the country. There is a rumor that one of his children had to plan her wedding around Bob’s schedule to shoot the Grand American. When attending other shoots, you will probably find Bob and friends under his picnic shelter, eating good food, swapping tales of Trapshooting, bird hunting and other good times. Bob, we enjoy your friendship and your support of shooting sports.

The Tennessee State Trapshooting Association held their Board meeting at TCTC on Saturday while the shoot was being conducted. They are busy planning for a successful State Trap Shoot. This year’s championship will be held at TCTC June 9-12.

Please plan to attend the TCTC’s March shoot on March 19th and 20th.
