Ladies Charity Aim for Asthma ClassicThe Ladies Charity Aim for Asthma Classic benefiting the American Lung Association of Tennessee’s Pediatric Asthma Program was held October 9th at the Tennessee Clay Target Complex. Over 70 ladies participated in the 50 target event. Teams of ladies were accompanied by safety officers who offered instruction and safety tips on how to conquer those clays. The event also featured a silent auction and the ever popular Pink Powder Puff side game. The ladies were treated to a gourmet luncheon donated by Jean & Jim Maddox and prepared by Chef Tom Allen. Three skydiving Elvi dropped in on the ladies courtesy of the Gray Busters. There was also an Elvis impersonator who added to the festivities of the day. Sponsors included Ingram Kennels, Gamebore, Shop at Home, Land & Lakes with Bill Hall, Whitfield Art Agency, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Miller & Martin PLLC and Sundrop. The ladies charity shoot encourages new shooters to participate in sport shooting all while benefiting a charitable organization. The ladies shot either the Pricilla or Lisa Marie course.
